New Year, New Start

Really weird thing happened this morning, I woke up earlier than my alarm.  Usually what happens is that I snooze the alarm 10 times before I finally turn it off and fall back asleep for another half hour.  But for some reason I guess my subconscious wanted an early start to my work week.  I had time to eat breakfast, read my favorite blogs and take some outfit pics.  Real productive right, I guess the early bird does catch the worm.

Here is my first work ensemble of the year.  For some reason I threw on this old dress.  I just love stripes!  DO you have that piece of clothing you always want to wear?

Studded Life

So I have a love of items with studs and I got to thinking about it because I am dying to wear my new clogs. The snow has melted but I may be a little too hopeful that it will actually stay that way (I'll just have to wear them indoors for now). In the meantime, here are some pics of my studded loves which I wear with everything including work outfits.  It just adds that edge to any outfit!

So looking back at 2010, fashion trends included animal prints, sparkle and fur. On the last day of the year I wanted to summarize it all in my NYE outfit tonight!! I wish that 2011 brings everyone happiness, health and tons of glamour!!

Decided to end off the year with an outfit post since I finally got an SLR camera from my guy.  Also got a fur hat which I am pretty happy about and that you will hopefully see in the new year since I plan on taking more pics!  I also boycotted boxing day this year since I think that it is just too crazy for me and opted for a more relaxing day (first time in history I have not gone shopping, and not quite sure what has come over me!) How was your Christmas and what good presents did Santa and boxing day bring you??

So not only did it snow, but the weather is also getting colder.  In order to brave our frigid winters, I always have at least two hats in my car, along with my cashmere snood around my neck(which I got last year at Banana Republic and is one of my best purchases since it is so soft and warm). But this year the latest fashionable hats have been these huge fur ones(thinking of getting one at H & M) and turbans (inspired by Carrie in SATC 2).  How do you guys stay warm?
