First birthday

These are very late... but still needed to post a couple of my faves from Nico's first birthday.

Summer days

Lately we have been enjoying the great weather by hanging out at the beach, taking long walks and daily visits to parks with friends.  I love summer because you can walk anywhere and just get on a bike and enjoy your own neighborhood.  Here are a couple of pics of us doing just that!

We had a wonderful time in Miami with Nico.  He loved the walks along the beach, eating the sand and just chillin in the pool. We got to relax (very little) while Nico took his naps and truly enjoyed the beautiful weather.  I also got to do some great shopping at the Aventura Mall nearby. Can't wait to go back:) 

Fashion starts young

The Coveteur features the closets of some of the most fashionable people,but the one feature I love the best is that of Alaia Rose. This little diva is the daughter of the stylist Monica Rose (who btw styles the Kardashians) and has one amazing closet. Dressing a little girl looks like so much fun!! There is just way more selection for little girls rather than boys.  No fair:)

Hello 2013!

Ok, so I am a little late with this post, but hey I can be excused. I have a baby! Speaking of baby, here are a couple of pics of the little guy who is now 8 months. Can you believe it. It goes by so quickly.

And this cold weather is killing me. Its so hard to do stuff with a baby when its -100 degrees outside.  But luckily we have lots of friends to meet and there's always mommy and baby yoga which we both love.

Here is what the decor around our place looks like.  But what I love most are the little handmade xmas (red things hanging on tree) ornaments my niece made with Nico's pics on them.  She is so cute and so in love with our little Nico man.  She says she wants to marry him one day... But I am still looking for a stocking for Nico.  Preferable sliver. What do you think about the one below?

This year Christmas just feels more exciting.  I have been making my husband a little crazy with all the Christmas music I've been playing since right after Halloween.  I guess having Nico has made me feel a little bit more like a kid and thus very festive. It's just fun to sip hot chocolate and watch Home Alone.  This is def on my to dos before the 25th.  Here are some pics from my weekend and whats been happening around here.  Also do you find it a little weird that Santa told me to sit on his lap!?!

I just wanted to share some of my fave accessories out there at the moment. Accessories are great because they can turn a boring outfit into a glamorous one or give a bohemian vibe just by adding a couple of jewels or a great bag. Many people told me that a trip with a baby would be hard and not the same as before.  But I can attest that it was different but in a great way and even better. Our families thought we were crazy to take our four month old on a road trip to NYC, but he actually loved it. We basically did the same thing we used to do before. We went to brunch, did a little shopping, chilled in parks and walked alot. Nico would chill in his bassinet (which was perfect as he got to take his naps) until he was hungry, which is when we would stop and find a nice park or bench to feed him. We rented an apartment through airbnb which was located in the Meatpacking district and was so practical since it was centrally located and surrounded by great shops and restos.  All in all we had a wonderful time and we can't wait to return to beautiful NYC with Nico when he is a little older.

Lil Working Man turns 3 months

Just wanted to give a quick update on my little man who turned three months last week.  We went to the annual company bbq/family day in this outfit.  Found the tie was just perfect for the office setting!  Hehe love the shirt collar too!

MWG's to do list

Having a baby really doesn't allow time for much so I decided to start a list of things to get done before the end of my mat leave which will force me to do stuff for me and him.To make these goals/to dos S.M.A.R.T I'll say that I will blog at a minimum once per week.  So hold me to it! I will finish my MBA by the time I go back to work and have already registered for one class in December. I will also try to cook one healthy dish per week (I leave the rest of the week's cooking to my hubby, just kidding if you're reading this Fab:). By the time Nico is 6 months I plan to take him to swimming lessons at the Y. And lastly does anyone have any recommendations for a good read? I am looking for some good books to read while Nico sleeps.
