Just when you think spring has sprung, the cold and wet weather hits you right in the face.  This past weekend was really windy and rainy and continued into Monday.  But I usually try to protect myself from the rain with some water proof boots and  great accessories like this  plastic Furla bag.  Bloggers everywhere have been sporting it in all the different colors!

So I am back at work on Monday after having 6 weeks off for school. As I am writing this,(it's Sunday evening )and I am a little excited to see my coworkers and to hear all the stories ( love the gossip!). I have of course planned an outfit to make my morning easier and it includes this new blouse I got along with a necklace I received from Jewelscapes. I plan on pairing it with some high waisted pants and pumps along with other accessories.  Hope the weather is better than this weekend, as I love sunny Mondays!

Our wedding Anniversary

Today is actually our 4th wedding anniversary and cannot believe how fast time flies. I remember the whole debate about the dress and how stressful that was for me.  I wanted to make sure that I really stayed true to my style and not convinced by a saleswoman to get some over the top gown.  So as you can see I wore a simple lace dress that will hopefully stand the test of time.  As wedding season approaches I am excited to see the new wedding dresses of the season.

To the Maxi

To avoid showing my pasty white legs, I decided to wear this maxi skirt which has been in my closet for many years.  Over the years I have put this skirt to good usage and have even worn it as a tube dress.  With the weather warming maxis are such a great option for work and weekend as they provide enough coverage.  Again nothing special happened this weekend as I still have alot of schoolwork, but did manage to go to a party.  This is my last week at school and then will be back to regular blogging and work too.  Have a great Monday and stop by again!!

A great new clothing line I discovered

Here are just a few pics of the Lucca Couture Spring 2011 line which I love.  I know that Lauren Conrad, Kourtney Kardashian and Molly Sims are all big fans of the line and have been spotted sporting dresses and rompers.  Also the model in the pics is Kourney and Kim's younger sister, Kendall.  But overall the line is great because it is feminine, pretty and laid back.  Very true to the LA vibe.

Thought I would do something different and post about beauty. I'm not really high maintenance in this area and definitely no expert. But here are some beauty purchases I am looking to make now that the weather is finally warmer. Lately I've been really into beach hair, with colorful toes and lips and super smooth tanned skin. Basically that "I was just at the beach look"! Hard to achieve in Montreal but that's where the bronzer comes in handy!
